Frequently Asked Questions

🖌️ Getting Involved

I’m not an artist – can I still join a mural project?

Absolutely. You don’t need to have any art experience to take part. We design our workshops and mural projects to be welcoming, relaxed, and fun for everyone – even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before!

How do I take part in a community mural or creative workshop?

You can join in many different ways – attending a community session, sharing your ideas, helping paint, or just stopping by to support. We often work with local partners like housing groups, schools and councils, so watch our socials or join our mailing list to hear when projects are happening near you.

Who can join your projects? Are they open to all ages?

Most of our projects are open to everyone, and we love working with all ages – from young children to older adults. Some sessions might focus on a specific group (like residents of a certain estate or young people), but we always make space for a wide range of voices.

🎨 About Our Work

What makes Co-Creative Connection’s approach different?

We put the community at the heart of everything. Our work is co-created – meaning we don’t come in with a fixed idea. Instead, we listen, invite stories and ideas, and build the artwork with the community every step of the way.

What is community-led art?

Community-led art is created by, with, and for the people it represents. Rather than just consulting, we involve participants meaningfully – from deciding themes to helping design and paint the final mural.
